Shugo Certified Secure Site Seal
Included at no extra charge with all FileGuardian subscriptions is the Shugo Certified Secure Site Seal, free for you to display on your company website.
Why display the Shugo Certified Secure Site Seal?
Ask any of your clients what their top concern with data transmission over the web is, and it's a sure bet the answer is security. Everyone fears becoming a victim of identity theft - your clients are no different. The Shugo Certified Secure Site Seal guarantees your clients that their personal information - SSNs, bank account numbers, addresses, phone numbers - are safe with you. Displaying the Shugo Certified Secure Site Seal gives your clients the peace of mind in knowing that Shugo is protecting their sensitive data.
What protection does the Shugo Certified Secure Site Seal guarantee?
Secured File Transport - files are always sent over secure (https) channels. FileGuardian is protected by a DigiCert High Assurance EV (Extended Validation) SSL Certificate, which means that Shugo has met the requirements for EV SSL Certificate issuance, including:
Secured File Storage - files are stored offsite with SAS70 Type II storage providers using custom FileGuardian encryption. In addition, access to each file is granted based on the combination of an access ID and secret key - which means that no one else can access your information. Access is explicitly verified based on an MD5 content hash - in plain terms, an MD5 content hash is an encryption method that gives each access ID and secret key a fixed length hash, which is completely unique and cannot be reversed (hacked). It is impossible to determine the original value with the hash value alone. This means that your information is secure from any hacking attempts. Automatic virus scanning - all incoming and outgoing files sent through FileGuardian are subject to virus scans by three separate virus scan engines. This means that you and your clients are triple-protected against the threat of virus transmission while exchanging files with FileGuardian. |
